If this is what ArmA requires just let me know so I'll start the refund process via Steam. Many hours later the best I can do is make it sit idly for eternity or take off right away and start blowing $hit up, even though the units are still alive.Īnd if this is possible, can someone tell me if it can be done without learning a programming language? I don't have the desire to spend a couple of years learning how to program just to make units activate after I killed something. So can someone explain how or if this is even possible? To make a helicopter take off and fly to an area when certain units are dead? Clearly there isn't a GUI for this and it must be done via an MS DOS looking trigger prompt. Their wiki dances around these simple topics and is utterly useless. Sadly the tutorial supplied with the game tells you how to place units and not much else. I've been reading, watching videos, trying various things. ![]() They start parked on the ground a few kilometers away so they don't hover for 1+ hours and run out of fuel while I find and kill the units. When those units are dead, I want other units (helicopters) to fly in. But ArmA's garbage editor makes things that take seconds in DCS or USAF (from 1998!) take hours. ![]() I have a simple task that I want to accomplish in EDEN. ![]()
